REDEMPTIVE STEWARDSHIP

GENERATIONAL STEWARDSHIP

What is the legacy I leave? What is the inheritance I leave for my children and generations to come? How have I prepared the next generation to be stewards of their inheritance?

Generational Stewardship

Our time on Earth is short, but the impact we make for God’s kingdom lasts forever. To practice generational stewardship, we must purposefully live our lives in a way so that long after our days on Earth are over, God will still be glorified from the decisions we have made. It sounds like a huge task. But, it is one we can take day by day so that over the course of our lives we have left a godly legacy.

Generational stewardship is about more than just leaving a monetary inheritance, it is about leaving a spiritual one as well. What values do we want to pass on to our children, and our children’s children? We can leave a legacy for them of grace, good character, generosity, and joy. God’s Word explains it simply — we should pass down the “glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.” (Psalm 78:4) When we instill these teachings in the next generation, we are raising them up to be faithful stewards who will prepare the generation after them. Crown is here to help you as you embark on this journey.

On this page you will find resources to help you witness to the next generation through a godly legacy. Whether you need help planning a will, learning to live as a servant, or teaching your children God’s principles, you are in the right place. This choice you are making today will multiply God’s kingdom tomorrow and forever.

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”

(Deuteronomy 6:5-7)
