Retirement Savings

One of the Super Bowl commercials that stuck out to me most was from ETrade. It featured a number of 85-year olds going back to work as surgeons, lifeguards, and deejays because they didn’t have enough saved to retire.

As the commercial points out, a third of Americans don’t have any retirement savings.

If that’s you, don’t panic – just start today!

The key is to be consistent. Your savings will grow faster the earlier you start the habit. And even if you’re tempted, don’t withdraw from it early.

Do your part to save while continuing to trust God to provide. Isaiah says, “Even to your old age I am he, and to gray hairs I will carry you.”
