How Would I Feel About This Tomorrow?

Have you ever made one of those impulse purchases that you almost immediately regret? Think about a chia pet, a fidget spinner or a banana slicer…

Maybe it wasn’t a banana slicer, but we’ve probably all experienced buyer’s remorse.

One of the most practical, but helpful savings tips, is to ask yourself before each purchase, “how will I feel about this next year”….or maybe, “how will my spouse feel about this tomorrow?” – or better yet, “how many hours would I have to work to pay for this?”

Now, you do have to be honest with yourself, but that question can help you save a lot of money and avoid buyer’s remorse. So the next time you pick up an avocado slicer, remember that where your treasure is, your heart is too.
