Testimony Tuesday – Crown Guatemala
God is using Crown throughout Latin America!
In June, Frank Gonzalez and I traveled to Guatemala. We were joined by staff and Crown donors. While there, we witnessed God at work through a week of ministry, partnership, and transformation. Our group connected with families and encouraged women in agricultural and financial development. We also celebrated the impact of our partnership with Potter’s House Association.
Throughout the week, I taught on biblical stewardship with thousands of teachers, business leaders, pastors, and wonderful people. Together with our partners, Alex and Magnolia of Zona Cero, we saw a growing hunger for biblical stewardship. It was encouraging to see how God’s principles are equipping leaders, strengthening communities, and transforming lives.
Financial hardship can trap families in cycles of poverty from one generation to the next, but biblical financial training is helping to change that. Individuals and families are learning God’s principles for work, stewardship, and budgeting. They’re learning to save, pay down debt, practice generosity, and plan for the future. As they begin managing what God has entrusted to them, their financial stress decreases, relationships grow stronger, and hope replaces despair. The impact extends beyond personal finances. Parents are better equipped to provide for their children. Churches grow stronger as members learn to faithfully steward their resources.
Now, I’m excited to invite you to join us in beautiful Knoxville, Tennessee, September the 10th through the 12th. We’re going to celebrate all that God has done through Crown over the last 50 years. Register today at crown.org/50years.
