Testimony Tuesday – Crown’s Work in Madagascar

God is using Crown to help the world’s most vulnerable people. 

In Madagascar, I witnessed real hunger as I’ve never experienced, along with a hunger for Biblical truth. We’ve trained leaders in “no-plowing and no-burning” conservation agricultural solutions for turning small-scale farms into profitable farms. Simultaneously, they’re equipped with God’s stewardship principles through Crown’s African Money Map and the Money Map Game. They learn that God owns it all, and they’re entrusted to manage well. These biblical financial principles enable them, their families, and their communities to escape poverty.  

We recently received the following testimony from one of our trainers: “Today, I travel to the most remote corners of Madagascar to share the training I received through Crown. Seeing a farmer restore their land with simple means and a rediscovered dignity is my greatest reward. But the transformation does not stop in the field. By integrating biblical financial management, we’re breaking the chains of poverty within households.

Sometimes, my journeys are long and often grueling – spent trekking for days and searching for safe drinking water. Yet all the fatigue fades away when I see the smile of a farmer hungry for knowledge. I train Christians, animists, and even those practiced in sorcery. Beyond the technical skills, they all share the same profound quest: to discover who this God truly is, who restores both the land and the heart.”
