Testimony Tuesday – Using the African Money Map in South Sudan

It’s Testimony Tuesday!

Crown’s African Money Map was a collaborative effort of a group of people living in Africa. They’re passionate about seeing millions of people in their continent become financially free. Based on the North American “Money Map,” timeless financial principles from God’s Word are presented through the story of a fictional character named Henry. People learn how to handle money based on the obstacles and challenges that he encounters. It’s an engaging and fun way to learn Biblical principles.

Our Alliance Partner, Empower-One, recently met with their key leaders in South Sudan. They’re meeting weekly in a pilot program to practice teaching the Money Map. They loved it. They’ve never been shown how to make a budget and set aside funds to invest in the future. For many, this was the first time they realized God cares about how they steward money. Their excitement was so encouraging!

Empower-One hopes this training will have a significant impact in South Sudan. The hardworking people are in dire need of knowledge and tools. One of the leaders contacted Empower-One with the following message: “I’m really serious about using the African Money Map and teaching it. My wife and I have been practicing it consistently since the time we met until now. I’ve also been going through the material more deeply. It’s important for me to teach what I actually live. I want this to flow from my own life, not just theory. I just have to say the whole thing is incredible. It’s truly powerful!” Join me in praying for the people of South Sudan.
