Testimony – Helped by a Budget Coach

Crown’s budget coaches are helping people around the world. One couple shared how the Money Map gave them a clear path to setting goals. The deep dive videos on saving were significant for them. The practical lessons and means to develop a savings plan worked! Also, learning how much to save – and the importance of using it to bless others to accomplish God’s kingdom purposes in the world. They look forward to having a generosity fund – giving more to the church and to missionaries in the future. They said the spending plan was really valuable, but most important were the theology lessons. Here are their words:

“These lessons reminded us that all we have is the Lord’s – and we are His stewards. We were challenged to use His resources for His glory and purposes; to depend on Him and make wise financial decisions according to Biblical principles. This stretched us, but caused us to trust Him more. It deepened our relationship with Him and helped us to find more contentment in Christ and see how He’s richly provided for us.

The course was so helpful spiritually. We were told from the beginning that the Biblical and spiritual element of the course would be the most rewarding part – and that was so true. My wife and I were really challenged to examine our hearts regarding our stewardship of God’s resources, and to put our trust and faith in Him and His ability to provide. And finally, to find our life, contentment, and satisfaction in Him alone.” Now that’s an encouraging story!
