Testimony Tuesday – Helped by a Budget Coach

A great financial coach can change everything! 

Steve Brooks is a friend and former Crown employee. He coaches people through his Dedicated Money Management website. He submitted this testimony of a couple he helped through our online budget coaching course. Upon completion, they continued working with Steve in money management. Here’s what they said about their experience in Crown’s online program:

“The budget coaching course has been humbling to say the least. We wish we had done this 15 years ago! It’s been so helpful to realize that “our money” is really “God’s money.” We need to treat it as such. This makes things more challenging, but now we’re not spending “God’s money” on wasteful things. We’re learning how to live within our means. It makes us feel responsible, and we know that it’s helped our marriage, too. We’re grateful for our coach and believe that God put Steve in our lives for a reason. It’s been a life-changing experience! The most significant lesson we learned was that giving to God’s Kingdom is a form of worship. We’ve struggled to understand why giving to the church is so important in the Christian faith; now we know it’s another form of worship. This understanding changed our hearts in a profound way. Now we get to give with pure and joyful hearts!”
