Testimony Tuesday – Crown Mongolia Team

Today, I’ll share a sobering testimony about money.

The power went out, and the only light they had emanated from a handful of candles. This enabled the Crown Mongolia team to get a photo of a dinner they shared with some people. They went there to teach the Bible on Money seminar. Everyone from Christians to Buddhists came seeking relief from their financial pain. During the seminar, a widow broke down in tears. She expressed that her husband ended his life over shame from his debt. Imagine her deep sorrow! These students were desperate. They not only had material needs, but they had a spiritual emptiness that urgently needed to be filled by Christ. Through prayer, discipleship, and teaching, the team gave them hope. They shared the Gospel with them and many others across Western Mongolia.

When we enter the story of others, it’s motivation to improve the way we handle money. It’s motivation to ask God how He can use us. It’s motivation to support the local church and ministries that are making a difference in people’s lives. Are you suffering today, overloaded with debt and filled with shame?
