We occasionally hear from donors concerned about Crown’s rating on charity watchdog sites. While not all platforms fully capture the unique nature of our ministry model, we remain fully committed to transparency, accountability, and Christ-centered financial stewardship. Our Impact Is Bigger Than Our Budget
Crown’s ministry is built on leveraged, scalable programs that are not easily quantified in standard financial reporting, such as IRS Form 990. Because many of our most impactful initiatives come at little or no direct cost, watchdog algorithms may misinterpret our overhead as disproportionately high. But here's what those numbers don’t show:
Millions in Donated Airtime
Each year, Christian radio stations across the U.S. donate over $12 million in airtime to broadcast our programs—My MoneyLife and Crown Money Minute—airing over 8,000 times a week. This strategic exposure reaches millions, yet comes at no cost to Crown.
Global Partner Networks
We have more than 180 ministry partners in over 150 nations, who use our tools, training, and licensed materials—often translated into local languages. These partners self-fund their efforts. Their financial contributions don’t appear on our books, but their impact is immense.
Volunteer-Driven
Each year, thousands of trained leaders and volunteers use Crown resources to teach and disciple others in biblical stewardship. These leaders are not on staff—but they extend Crown’s reach exponentially, serving their communities at no cost to the ministry.
These "hidden assets"—free airtime, global partnerships, and volunteer-led outreach—are the reason your support goes further at Crown. While some financial tools may underrepresent this kind of multiplication, we want you to know that we steward every resource prayerfully, strategically, and transparently.
