Chuck BentleyIs capitalism on the verge of collapse?  That’s the frightening prediction of a respected Swiss economist who’s very worried about the massive debt taken on by the U.S. government.

Now, the world can be a very scary place if you’re trapped in man’s economy.  There, money rules your life. But if you’re living in God’s economy, you can have peace of mind no matter what’s happening around you.

So where are you?  Well, here are 4 questions to help you find out.

  1. Is God your master, or is money?  In man’s economy, money affects everything you do.  In God’s economy, He’s your Master and He guides your every decision.

  2. Do you treasure God or money?  In man’s economy, you believe money will insulate you from problems. In God’s economy, He is your only treasure, and He is more precious than any other thing you may ever possess.

  3. Why do you even have money?  Well, in man’s economy, you believe that you’ve earned it; it’s yours and you can do with it whatever you want.  In God’s economy, He’s your Provider and you work for His glory to advance His kingdom.

  4. Why is there wealth?  In man’s economy, wealth buys you independence and security.  But in His economy, you have surplus so that you can help others.

So, are there dire times ahead?  Well, only God alone knows the future, but I believe He’s given us warnings to prepare with a sense of urgency.

Now, you can’t rely on the government and you can’t get trapped in man’s economy. Live in God’s economy.

The Plans of Tomorrow

Life is fragile. Consider where you are investing your time and energies.

Teaching God's People God's Principles

God calls each of us to fill the gap in order to spread His Gospel to all parts of the world.

Finances and Your Relationship with God

This generation’s greatest need is for God’s Word to be taught clearly and undiluted. The next greatest is for Christians to demonstrate that it works.

God and Money

Once we understand how God uses money and why He chooses to use it in a particular way, we can better understand His directives regarding finances.
