Congress is considering a measure that would extend jobless benefits another 13 weeks in states with unemployment higher than 8.5%, and right now, that’s over half of all the states. You hate to see Washington spending more money, but at least these funds would directly help folks who’ve been hard hit by the recession. Now, here are 3 things you need to know if you’ve been out of work for an extended period of time:
You know, man’s economy is filled with fear and uncertainty about the future, but God’s economy offers us peace of mind in good times and bad. If you’d like to find out more about the blessings of living in God’s economy, we want to help you whether you’re employed or unemployed. I hope you’ll visit us at Crown.org. |

Choosing the Right VocationIn choosing a vocation, Christians must weigh their priorities very carefully. When people are out of God’s priorities, they are out of His will. |
Job LossDealing with lay off is not pleasant, but look at the lay off as an opportunity that can be conquered. |

Making Career DecisionsMost Americans need to unlearn the errors and then learn the truth regarding career decisions. |
Work as Unto the LordBeing God’s emissary on the job is not difficult; it’s impossible. Only by yielding our rights to Him can the world get a glimpse of Him through us. |
