Well, many people are in financial bondage because of work. They’re either unemployed or a slave to their jobs, and they're miserable—they’re stuck or trapped in man’s economy. Now, God never intended for it to be that way. In man’s economy, you work just for money, or to be successful in the eyes of the world, or simply so that you can retire from work. But, people living in God’s economy have a totally different view. Did you know that God created work? Genesis 2:15 says: ”The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and to take care of it.” So, God created work to satisfy us and to please Him. Ephesians 6:7 tells us who we’re working for: “Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men.” So how do you work unto the Lord?
So I’ll ask you again: Who are you working for these days? I hope you understand clearly, that you and I work for the Lord. |

Choosing the Right VocationIn choosing a vocation, Christians must weigh their priorities very carefully. When people are out of God’s priorities, they are out of His will. |
Job LossDealing with lay off is not pleasant, but look at the lay off as an opportunity that can be conquered. |

Making Career DecisionsMost Americans need to unlearn the errors and then learn the truth regarding career decisions. |
Work as Unto the LordBeing God’s emissary on the job is not difficult; it’s impossible. Only by yielding our rights to Him can the world get a glimpse of Him through us. |
