Now, we have listeners across the political spectrum, here in the U.S. and around the world. I know some people think I sound like a right-wing Republican, but actually, we're trying to advance God’s kingdom and not either political party. We're teaching the truth of God’s Word. Now, politicians in both parties have let our government and economy to the dangerous financial condition that we’re now in. We’re groaning with debt that will last for generations. So, there’s plenty of blame to go around. Now, we should use the same simple test that God used to judge kings. They either did what was right in His eyes, or they did what was evil in His eyes. So, I want you to know God’s Word and to support leaders who take positions that agree with God’s Word. To have a biblical worldview you must know the Bible. So, rather than blaming a particular party, let’s look at what the Bible says about debt. God’s Word says that the borrower is servant to the lender and that a nation in debt will be the tail and not the head. The U.S. is trillions of dollars in debt. The reality is that in the last 20 years, both political parties have led us down the path to near bankruptcy. That’s not good stewardship. We need to help those representing us realize that more of man’s wisdom isn’t the solution. God and His economic principles are the solution to the financial problems that our nation faces. |

A listener recently challenged my use of the term “biblical worldview.” He thought I should use the term, “Republican Evangelical Christian worldview,” instead.
