Did you know that God uses money to strengthen and improve your relationship with Him?

It’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking that God isn’t concerned about mundane things like finances, but with over 2300 verses in the Bible relating to money and possessions, we know that’s not true.

In fact, the Bible tells us that God uses money in a number of ways to influence our lives—far too many to list here.  So today, we’ll look at just 3 ways God interacts with us using money.

1. God uses money to strengthen our trust in Him. It’s often through our finances that God clearly shows us He’s in control.  He wants us to trust Him to provide and accept our role as stewards of what he’s given us.
   
   Matthew 6:33 says “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

2. God uses money to unite Christians in blessings. He uses the abundance of some believers to supply the needs of others and to fund His Kingdom.

3. God uses the availability of money to provide direction in our lives.  Too often we believe He only directs our lives through the abundance of money, but He also leads us down His directed path by withholding money.
   
   As we begin to understand how and why God uses money in our lives, our faith in Him grows stronger.
