World Population Control
We're going to watch two of the short films in the series and I'll be teaching, as well. So if you can make it, bring the whoel family. There's no charge to attend, but please register in advance.
The God Provides™ Film Learning Experience is focused on teaching people to trust God to provide for their needs. It's important for Christians to embrace that truth. Satan tries to convince us that we can’t trust God to take care of us. This c Causes fear and leads people to look out for ourselves. There’s a myth in the world today that there are too many people and not enough resources. Some governments are using that as a reason to control their populations. It’s a lie and we have to confront it. God told us to be fruitful and multiply. We have to trust God when we increase the size of our families to provide for our needs.
Rob says the modern eugenics movement that stemmed from Darwinism is the origin for the overpopulation myths. Darwinism espoused that some species are superior to others. Margaret Sangor founded Planned Parenthood to eliminate inferior populations. Some scientists believed world population was growing too quickly and that resources were dwindling because of overpopulation. That has proven to be false. There is no greater resource than human life. But there remains an anti-human agenda by some people. The U.S. has made great strides in reducing pollution and carbon emissions. Emissions from cars is down 90% over the last 40 years. This has happened despite an increasing population. Rob says mMan is responsible for some environmental pollution. The biggest polluters are in the developing world, particularly China and India. Man’s impact on carbon emissions is inconclusive. We don’t have to commit economic suicide to be clean. We can give incentives to be environmentally friendly. Christians have a responsibility to be good stewards but we can do it without destroying our economy. The solution being proposed is population control instead of good stewardship. Population control goes against God’s plan for man. Human life is the greatest blessing the Earth can enjoy. We should want to enjoy children and grandchildren. They are some of God’s greatest gifts. We can produce more food on less land now than ever before. America feeds the world. Families in America are limiting the number of children they have. It's dangerous to the future of our country. For a nation or family to duplicate itself the birth rate needs to be 2.1%. The African-American birth rate is .9% because the abortion industry has been successful in getting into inner cities. People believe fewer children means you can give them more, and have more freedom and opportunity for yourself, but life is the greatest gift. Children are a heritage from the Lord. When we severely limit children, we limit the good gifts God wants to give us. We take control of our lives away from God. We should prayerfully consider the size of our families and approach children as a joy and blessing instead of a burden. The world population is a little over 6 billion and it's starting to decline. China’s one-child policy has resulted in 30-32 million Chinese men without wives. China has had sex selection abortion for decades that targets girls. This is a recipe for social disaster. When we take control of our lives, we totally disrupt God’s plan for us, and there are dire consequences. America is facing the prospect of negative economic growth in the future because we don’t have the workers. Since abortion was legalized in 1973, at least 46 million children have been killed, the quivalent of two generations. We've destroyed our ability to thrive. We're forced to look outside borders for workers. People come up with the best ideas to make lives better, but without innovation, lifestyle will deteriorate. Some have argued for one child policies in U.S. so that there is zero population growth. We need to view children as a godly heritage from the Lord. Children are the greatest legacy the Lord can give us. We need to have children, value and cherish them. Christians need to have a Biblical understanding of the family. Every person has been uniquely made by God in His image. We need to honor and dignify human life. Parents need to understand children are a blessing. We're never ready for children or a lot of things. God calls us to do things and equips us to do them. It's a matter of trust and obedience. One of the principle reasons of marriage is to have children. We must cnfront the lie that people are the problem in the world today. People aren’t the problem. We have the resources to feed everyone and have abundant lives. Look at the data and argue against those who say humans are the problem. We must also live exemplary lives with our spouse and children and model a godly family to others. A family that is Christ-oriented is a family we should want to be a part of. I hope this program has helped you combat the lie of population control. God has given us dominion of the Earth. The solution is not to have fewer children but to be fruitful and multiple and be good stewards that bring glory to God. |

Finances and Your Relationship with GodThis generation’s greatest need is for God’s Word to be taught clearly and undiluted. The next greatest is for Christians to demonstrate that it works. |
God and MoneyOnce we understand how God uses money and why He chooses to use it in a particular way, we can better understand His directives regarding finances. |
