Need a plan for financial breathing? God's plan is simple. It is exhaling bad habits and inhaling good principles. It is the Holy Spirit that simplifies this plan for us if we allow Him to.

Being in financial bondage means having excessive debts, which usually occurs because of bad habits. Many years ago financial bondage meant physical bondage; failure to pay a debt was equated with dishonesty, which was judged strictly. Today society usually doesn't incarcerate someone because of debts; literal physical bondage has been replaced by mental bondage.

"Make friends quickly with your opponent at law while you are with him on the way, in order that your opponent may not deliver you to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and you be thrown into prison. Truly I say to you, you shall not come out of there, until you have paid up the last cent."

The Bible teaches that we should help fellow Christians in need and also show hospitality to strangers. Thus, every member of any local church should be able to look to the fellowship they attend as an extension of God's provision.

"If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, 'Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,' and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?"
