Tips for your Career - Dealing with Job-related Conflict and Transition

Today, we start the week with tips for your career. Because you and I spend a large part of our time at work, it is important to find contentment in this aspect of our life.  If you’re miserable in your current job or if you’re looking for a new job, here are some tips to help you deal with job-related conflict and transition. Adam was created to work before he disobeyed God, so recognize that you are working for God, not man. All of your skills, talents and even your promotions come from God, so trust Him to be in charge of your career. Psalm 75:7 says, “but it is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another.” Work as if God were your boss, well…because He is. Colossians 3:23 says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.” Honor your employer even if you don’t like or agree with him or her.
