There are many ways to give to Crown
Financial Ministries. Click on the title below to read about
each way to help support the ministry of Crown.
Gifts of Stock
A gift of stock can be one of the best ways to give to Crown.
Gifts of appreciated stock are particularly wise from a
tax perspective, since there are no capital gains paid,
and the giver receives a tax deduction of the full face
amount.
For example, if you bought stock for $1,000 and now it is
worth $5,000, you receive a tax deduction for the entire
$5,000 without having a $4,000 capital gain. You would benefit
in 2 ways, and Crown would benefit from the $5,000 contribution.
Gifts of stock can also be one of the easiest ways to give.
With your permission, Crown can work directly with your broker
or financial planner, and the process is very simple.
If you are interested in donating stock or mutual funds and would like more information, please contact us at 1-800-346-4484 or email klewis@crown.org.
NOTE: Please let us know the type of stock and amount of shares you are donating to enable us to track the donation and receipt you appropriately.
Gifts in Kind
Crown has received numerous creative gifts such as surplus
items, sale of grains, houses, land, apartments, vehicles,
etc. When you give appreciated property, you are entitled
to an income tax deduction for the full value of the asset,
not just the amount you paid for it, and often you can
deduct the market value of your item. If you would like
to talk to one of our experienced representatives about
any ideas you have about a gift in kind, we would love
to talk to you. Please click

at 800.722.1976.

Memorial
or Honorarium Gifts
If you would like to give a gift in memory of or in honor
of someone, please call 1-800-722-1976. You will need to
provide the following information:
- Your name and address as the one giving the gift.
- The name of the recipient of the honorarium or memorial
gift.
- The name and address of the person or family to receive
the notification of the honorarium or memorial gift.
A card will be sent to the person or family designated to
notify them of the gift. You will receive a receipt acknowledging
your generous gift.
Remembering Crown in
Your Will
Remembering Crown in your will is a convenient way to leave
a lasting legacy. After you have provided for your loved
ones, you can set aside a percentage of your estate to be
given to Crown. This can be done at the time you have your
will made or it can be added by a codicil (amendment to your
existing will).
If you would like additional information about other creative
ways to give using living trusts, gift annuities, life insurance,
and retirement plans, please call Crown at
800.722.1976. We would be delighted to assist
in any way that we can.
