My wife and I joined Crown in the first year of our marriage, as we sought to find exactly where our cash was going. We could not have known then the tremendous resource it would become for my small business. As full-time work has become harder to secure, my self-contracted computer and Web design work has become the bulk of my income. When it came time to do taxes on a home business, I was overwhelmed with the detail of expenses required to file for tax returns.

Then I remembered the easy and intuitive reports Crown offers. Within a matter of minutes, I had my expenses totaled in all areas of my small business: income, auto expenses, office supplies and sales taxes.

I have Crown to thank for simplifying both our overall budget and the daunting task of small business taxes.

Being a part of Crown Ministries forces you to focus on debt reduction, and it combines with the faith that occurs in the teaching. It is a powerful combination, and I have paid off major and minor credit card debts. This is through creative ideas that I wouldn't have considered before. It gives you a feeling of empowerment and control over your finances.

I have begun to see that God can use me in new ways for the Kingdom when I am no longer servant to the lender. This is all while I am self-employed since being laided off last June. I am expecting miracles, whereas my faith wasn't there before.

My favorite new scripture is I Chron. 29: 11-12: "Everything in the heavens and earth is Yours, Oh Lord, and this is Your kingdom. We adore You as being in control of everything. Riches and honor come from You alone, and You are the ruler of all mankind; Your hand controls power and might and it is at Your discretion that men are made great and given strength."

Just want to say thank you to all of you who make up this Christ-centered program!!

We are 34 and 30, married for eleven years now. We see God growing us together each day more and more as we continue to listen to your Godly counsel and to the counsel of others who draw us closer to Christ.

Because we listen to the Holy Spirit guiding our hearts in all we do, we don't have to worry about financial stress being a burden on our marriage, though it was for many years. We are so unbelievably blessed!

Any negative downturn a marriage could have, we've been there and endured those difficult times. But together with God's grace, all things are possible. He perseveres! (2 Thes. 2:13-3:18)

I began the Crown study during the most difficult time, financially, for my wife and me. Crown has given me very simple, yet very basic tools to use to become debt free and, more importantly, the ability to provide gifts to continue to spread God's Word.

God is so awesome. In a time when I believed that our financial burdens were insurmountable, God led us to this 10-week journey. He always provides ways for each and every one of us to handle every situation life presents us. And He does it in such a way that we can use our God given abilities for His glory.

The Crown class has taught me to take a godly perspective toward money management, and hence has reinforced my faith and growth as a Christian. Also, seeing the prayer requests come true with myself and especially my group-mates is truly awesome! I plan to take this class again and will certainly recommend Crown to family and friends.
