John Smith
Vice President, Content & Project Management

John L. Smith currently serves as the Vice President, Content & Project Management for Crown Financial Ministries. In this role, John oversees the content development teams responsible for generating fresh, relevant Crown resources and teaching materials for the church and retail markets, as well as coordination of special projects and events.

During his twenty-year sales and marketing career, John worked his way up through the ranks of one of the nation's largest financial services companies, only to realize his desire to serve in a place where the marketplace and ministry intersect. Before joining Crown in January 2002, John’s professional journey included working for such organizations as GE Capital, Larry Burkett’s Christian Financial Concepts, and Dr. John C. Maxwell’s INJOY Group.

John holds a BA in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University, where he also minored in Human Resource Management. He continues to live in Georgia with his wife, Ginna, and their three children.
